For Nathan, working at Jewish Care is a family affair – ! A year and a half ago, he left a job in the restaurant business and followed his dad’s example by applying to work at Jewish Care. He was looking for an opportunity to develop his career and has found just what he was looking for.
“I call my team the Fantastic Four! We do everything from repairs, to plumbing, to painting across a number of different care homes. I had very little experience before coming to work here, but Jewish Care have really helped me to develop by sending me on different courses. It’s a great team-focused environment to work in.”
Christine originally came to the UK from Kenya to study IT, working
as a carer part-time. However, she enjoyed it so much she decided to go
into it full-time
