An opportunity for a caring, compassionate, and competent person to provide Waking Night Care to Older Jewish People (tenants) with a range of physical and emotional needs.
This role is part-time (20 hours per week) and the hourly rate is £9.50-£9.99. The role is based in Golders Green in our Independent Living apartments.

What we need:
We are looking for individuals to work Waking Nights in our Extra care apartments in Golders Green, NW11 - we’re looking for experienced care staff to join our team, and we have a number of flexible long- and short-term contracts for the right people.
Your work involves being awake at night to patrol the building, ensuring it is secure. Carrying out scheduled visits to tenants as detailed in their care and support plans and dealing with calls from tenants from their telecare pendants in the event of emergency. You will need to be responsible and able to think clearly in the event of an emergency. You will have a “sleeping night” colleague with you at all times in the building, and you will also be supported by an Out of Hours provider, who can be contacted by phone should you need assistance or need to speak to a manager.
While we need someone experienced, you don’t need to be a care professional to apply -- you may have cared for an elderly relative before. What matters most is a willingness to help others; patience for those with different ability levels; and a positive, caring attitude. You will need to be reliable. a good time keeper and able to deal with emergencies should they occur
