The Redbridge Jewish Community Centre (RJCC) is one of the largest of its kind in Western Europe, providing social, welfare, communal and education services and programmes for all age groups in the local Jewish Community. Redbridge JCC has been providing services for children and young people since its inception. Youth activities at the centre are historic and have seen young members grow into confident individuals, who often enrol on the MIKE programme and become the next leaders within the community.

 

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities

  • The post holder is responsible for helping to run the MIKE Leadership training and all other relevant activities to this programme.
  • To assist to effectively develop and deliver a high-quality Jewish youth programme.
  • To help to develop all programming and activities
  • To support any one-off events and activities as part of the Youth Team
  • To support the MIKE Programme Coordinator to meet the current demands.
  • To create positive relationships with the participants and be a positive role model.
  • To report any safeguarding concerns regarding participants to the MIKE Programme Coordinator
