We are seeking an enthusiastic & motivated Registered Manager. Do you want to work for a multi-award-winning organisation offering high quality housing with care services to older people? We are proud to be the UK’s leading charity providing health and social care to the Jewish community. Jewish care is pleased to offer an opportunity for outstanding Team Leaders to join our Regulated Services Team for our flag ship retirement community, Pears Court, located in Stanmore, Hertfordshire.  This is a prestigious new build development, which is part of our Sandringham Campus site.  Phase 2 of this exciting development will be opening in early 2021, offering 48 one and two-bedroom retirement housing properties for rental.  You will be responsible for managing a team of care and support staff delivering high quality housing with care services to older members of the Jewish Community. You will be supporting the registered manager to recruit and lead a brand-new team who will be passionate about the high-quality care and support they deliver. This role may also include work in other various North West London locations.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Jewish Care has invested in maximising the safety of its staff, residents and all others who are associated with the organisation and its various resources. Our aim is to continue and implement practices that minimise the risk of infection and the spread in our care homes and the wider community. Our registered Managers and colleagues in support services have a key responsibility in achieving this by working collaboratively.

We strive to provide residents, their relatives or representatives, volunteers, external visitors and professionals and colleagues, with a positive ‘customer experience’, thus enhancing their experience as well as their view of Jewish Care as a caring and professional service provider.

We aim to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies in order to afford the best access to services to our residents and those who advocate for them.

The Registered Manager’s role is to provide vision and leadership enabling the home and its stakeholders to achieve the above aims and to meet regulatory and organisational standards whilst thriving as a ‘business’ in a competitive sector.
