Would you like a rewarding role with a multi award-winning care company? We are looking for a Night Team Leader to join our team at our Anita Dofman House Residential Nursing Home in Stanmore, where you’ll be working in a vibrant community that provides nursing support to older people and people with dementia. This post is for 42 hours per week, working on a rota basis which will include some weekends.

You will need to be able to commit to the 2 week working pattern: 

Week 1 

Wednesday Thursday

Week 2

Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday Sunday

What you’ll be doing

Acs Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in making sure all residents are supported to meet their physical, emotional and social needs. To ensure a seamless provision of care, you’ll manage your team and also act as part of the care team on shift, helping with everything from personal care to administering medicine. Your senior duties will include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Organising staff allocations and breaks
  • Arranging cover for absences
  • Liaising with home managers
  • Dealing with external agencies or visiting professionals (GP etc.)

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be a great communicator who’s confident leading a team, with previous experience in a similar care environment supervising others. As this role is on a day rota basis, you’ll need to be able to work shifts including weekends and evenings. We’re also looking for:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent (minimum)
  • Experience working with older people with dementia
  • Willing to undertake all aspects of care to meet residents’ needs
