This role is based at our new independent living facility, Wohl Court in Hendon.  The working hours are 35 hours eack week worked on a rota basis, working 5 out of 7 days. The role of Housekeeping Assistant will involve the delivery of Hotel Services within Jewish Care Homes and Community Centres. This position will be responsible for the effective delivery of housekeeping services to an excellent standard to meet Health & Safety Regulations. Effective communication, ability to work well within a team and be flexible in their approach.

What you'll be doing:

  • Ensure housekeeping activities are delivered to the required standard so that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained across Jewish Care
  • To ensure on all occasions safe and hygienic working practices are delivered in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work and other statutory legislation
  • To consistently deliver excellent customer service and build positive working relationships with colleagues and services, always responding to feedback to improve the housekeeping service

What you'll need: 

  • Can demonstrate experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrate an understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety in the workplace, or willingness to be trained accordingly
