The role of the Care Manager is to ensure Jewish Care provides a person centred service to all of our residents, building relationships with them, their families and the local community. Enabling every individual to remain independent and have choices which meet their personal needs. The Care Manager is accountable for making sure that the service provided is delivered in line with all current legislation and policies and that all staff are trained and supported to deliver to the Jewish Care standard.
This role is a full-time position over 39 hours per week worked on a rota basis which may include some weekends, and is fixed term for upto 12 months to cover maternity leave.
Salary is dependendent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications, Experience & Desirable Skills
NVQ or QCF Level 4 or 5 (Desirable)
RGN or RMN registered with NMC (Desirable, not essential)
Leadership in Dementia Care Qualification (Desirable)
Previous experience working with older people and leading a team in a care home environment (Essential)
Proven experience of being responsble for the day to day management of a care home environment (Essential)
Experience of security and building management (Desirable)
Experience of administrating medicine (Essential)
Experience of dealing with emergency care (Essential)
Experience of working with people living with dementia (Essential)
